The show already exists for a couple of years, this year it actually will be the 10th edition, but since last year they were able to officially change their name into All European Shinkokai Koi Show. This means this year will be the second edition of this European version of the Shinkokai. Also with this edition several Japanese judges will come to judge the entered Koi. For the second edition of the European Shinkokai, which is also the 10th show that is organized by the KOI2000 association, the breeders Hisashi Hirasawa (Marudo), Ikarashi (Ozumi) and Kazuyuki Kawakami will come from Japan!
A Yondan (four steps) Kohaku from Sakai Fish Farm was unquestionably the most beautiful Koi in the gardens of Appeltern (the Netherlands) and the rest of Europe. She is the Grand Champion of the recently held Interkoi Show in Germany. Now she is also present at the European Shinkokai, but did not succeed to repeat her success in Germany.
