The Belgian ZNA Koi Show has another winner. The Grand Champion of the 2012 edition is won by a 87 centimeter long Kohaku owned by Koifarm ND! ND stands for Nico Dewulf and is a new player in the European Koi scene. Later this year there will be a grand opening of his shop with a big event whereby ten (!) KoiQuestion was present with a stand at the BKS Koi Show in Bokrijk in Belgium, as you could read before. During this show Bram Rohaan gave a workshop about: ‘how to judge the potential of young Koi?’. It is common knowledge that colour and pattern are the main criteria for a Koi selection. Of course, there are more important criteria as many people know, but the real know-how of Koi selection is less known, though that’s what we observed at Bram’s workshop.
